The Project Casa Del Cabo is situated over a closed community around the north of Buenos Aires, on the lot with north orientation and surrounded by a lake on two whether its side, giving us amazing views. The clients, an elder couple that no more lives with its children, needed a comfy, compact and overall functional home. The Casa Del Cabo home opens towards the back, matching the northern sun as well as the best views. About the east side, the home meets the river by way of a semi covered space that functions as a garage and outdoor liveable space. This space allows the integration between the front garden with the yard. Towards the south, your house appears quite compact to preserve the owner’s intimacy. The kitchen is privately that takes probably the most of lake view at night street.
Internally, there’s a central double high green space – structuring axe of the house – which makes air circulation moving more freely, brings some indirect zenithal light for the different regions of the home and generates crossing views between them all. With the stairs, this space connects and separates visually serving and served functions. It creates in this way a brand new landscape that organizes in to a hierarchy the hall, the steps and the suite. The pool is strategically located about the edge of the lot, where it gets a lot of sun during all day and, on a single time, provides the best views because of the stairs which form like a bench that overlooks on nature. Moreover, it blends with all the landscape’s organic design and breaks up with strait shapes of your home. The general public Casa Del Cabo ground floor rises using the terrain – which includes naturally differents levels – so that it creates an interrupted view towards the lake from inside.
